She not only has to hide her growing magic but also tries to get familiar with the customs and learn how to ride the formidable warhorses of Mynaria. Her teacher is however who scares her the most; Princess Amaranthine called Mare who is just as wild as Mynaria’s horses.
After the shocking assassination Mare and Denna join forces. As time passes, Denna and Mare get to know each other better and realize there is plenty to love in one another. Their friendship begins to grow into something much more.
To do as their heart’s desire would ruin the alliance between the two empires putting both in danger. It is a beautiful story of two people finding love for the first time and fighting for it.
