Eragon’s story is built up like old tales that follows Eragon a poor farm boy who finds a blue stone in the forest that ends up changing his life.

Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself when the stone brings a dragon hatchling.

Together they embark on a dangerous journey of magic and destiny to find if Eragon can take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders.

Eragon is a YA fantasy book series with dragons and while it’s intended for YA readers adults can also enjoy it.

While the first book is not the best in the series it’s probably the most impressive if we consider that the writer was in his teens when he wrote it.
